Stupid Question??

Sorry, if this is a stupid question, but I am stuck. I have a 2000 Ranger XLT stepside. My fuel filler neck is messed up. I have been trying to locate one, but the only place I can find is a dealer. Someone I know is parting out a 1994 Ford Ranger Reg bed. Is there any chance this will fit? He doesn't want to take it all apart unless I know. (I don't blame him). My truck is not here and this guy lives far away......so I can't do a compare right now. I don't think it will fit, but does anyone know? Thanks. Sorry. I am a Newbie to Rangers.

if his is a fleetside it definitely wont fit. if its a flairside, i still dont think it will, but i dont know for sure.

never messed mine up. i just know the flairside necks are shorter than fleetside necks.
