Well i submitted my resume to MultiBand, within 12 hours they were contacting me about coming in for an interview and to bring my license and truck. They just have to check driving record and my truck. Problem is the big R on windshield. I've tried to not have a shop do it as I know it'll be at least a $500.00 bill to troubleshoot it.
Basically emissions can't be read and cigarette lighter and emissions are on same fuse. I have replaced all, yes ALL fuses since trucks old and I just wanted to not have to worry about fuses for awhile. No cig lighter still so I think it's safe to assume no emissions yet. I have followed wires from the 02 bungs, they are good. I just gotta get under hood and do some more checking of the computer I guess. I don't know it's exact location, only that you plug into it under dash. Basically by Monday at 12 noon, if it isn't good to go no job. I really hate being on unemployment and feel useless around the house lol.
I'm gonna continue to try and troubleshoot, I was almost thinking of just pulling the wiring harness from a 98-2000 4.0 and hoping it's a faulty wire that I just can't see the problem. I've gotten wiring diagrams from a member, so I'll have to check those again. Any tips appreciated, and ya I've obviously searched and foulotslot of threads, but noone ever reports to update what the problem was to give me an idea on possible problem areas.
