Murder a Civic
I was doing 50, only five over the speed limit, down the road. I am coming up on an intersection, no cars are in front of me or behind me. At the intersection I can see some cars trying to see around eachother so they can make a left turn. Well I am about a car length from the white line at the intersection and a civic shoots out to make the left, we almost crashed but I swerved to the side and slammed on my brakes. It scared the smack out of me, if I had hit him... it would have been the end for that little car.
Seriously though, why couldn't that idiot wait 8 more seconds for the light to change and not risk death by turning out into the intersection?!

Ran off the road by a Van!
Light turns green and I go to take my left. Some idiot doesnt even bother to look and just takes a right infront of me. It really didn't bother me though, but then as he is driving next to me he trys to merge! I honked the horn, but nothing... so I ran off into the median at 45mph and he finally heard me. Freaking idiot!

75mph in the rain!
I am on Interstate 4 doing about 75mph after it had just rained. A bus comes up from behind me, doing about 80+, he switches lanes and guns it. Well there is semi in the other lane, that I am about to pass at my speed... but the bus speeds up and cuts between me at the semi. About 4 feet from my bumper. If that bus had hit my bumper I would have been tossed into the grass and probably been killed. So I rode his ass blasting my horn and passed him still blasting my horn, he didn't do it again... just stayed behind me.

Geez... sounds like the Ann Arbor drivers up here in Michigan. Half the people on the road are soccer moms with cell phones attached to their face. I had someone make a "Michigan Left" (for those of you who don't know what they are your lucky) in front of me when I had the green light. I just blare my air horns at them.

4. Finally California got that law passed to ban phone and driving. We need to get these idiots focused back on the road & California aint bullshittin around on this the fines are heavy.

The Alberta Government has said that talking on a cell and driving is not distracting to drivers, you can only guess the problems this is causing/going to cause.

I think the biggest problem for most people who talk on the cell phone while driving is that they don't know when they seriously should put down the phone. If i'm cruising down the interstate with no obstructions and my phone rings i'll answer it, but if i'm in tight traffic in the middle of a big city or doing anything that requires any form of concentration I will just worry about it later. Cell phones are not to blame for all of the acts of stupidity that happen on the road, but most of the times when i've seen someone do something that could have caused an accident there is usually a cell phone attached to their ear.

just on the way home from work, there is a big hill and this stupid ass "person" in a 4 runner cuts me off almost hitting her, no blinker, all because she didn't want to slow down.

na, i just took traffic school and everything like that is outlawed, or very soon.

btw traffic school was because i got pulled over by a motorcycle cop, when i was going down a hill on into speed trap, which was because i got a dead battery on my way to work ( which i needed to pick up my pay check because i was going on vacation and had to leave within 30 minutes to meet a friend who i was going with

Yea I swear the worst drivers are in Florida, I put about 2,000 Miles on my truck a month being a pizza delivery driver and all, I see the dumbest shit ppl do while behind the wheel.

And I4 sucks. Ive only driven on it a few times between Tampa and Lakeland, some of the assholes that drive on that stretch of road, I dont even have words for it.

A little bit of advise, when an idiot is doing something that will cause a wreck (I do not believe in "Accidents") HOLD YOUR LANE!!!!! If you go off the road and wreck or get stuck and a cruiser comes through, you will get the ticket. I know it sounds stupid, but I would rather smack right into you the very way the wreck happened and the investigators can and will determine how it happened and let Bozo sleepy head at the wheel, or Mr\Mrs. Inconsiderate take the ticket along with causing a wreck along with fixing or repairing my vehicle and any medical bills and any long term pain and suffering.

In other words, I do not move when I have right of way, you will hit me, or find some other way to avoid this, or get ready for a lot of grief in your life, I carry Comp on my insurance and uninsured motorist as well, so if you have no insurance, oh well I am still covered and you have a insurance company breathing down your neck. Now I am not saying to never hit your brakes to avoid a wreck or do a quick glance in the next lane to see if you can move over, by all means yes do it, just don't go hitting the medians or go in to the ditch!!!!

Texting isn't explicitly outlawed yet, but I do think it will be. Driving while distracted has been illegal for some time, though it doesn't ever seem to get enforced (kinda like the 5-cars-behind-you-and-you-must-pull-over law).

FYI, the cell phone ban goes into effect tomorrow. The definition of hands-free drives me nuts. The WORST thing to do is DIAL THE FN PHONE, but that's not illegal. Hands-free means you can TALK without holding it. That's why texting is still legal. How do you distinguish between that and dialing?

Honestly, I'm having a hard time understanding why a dead battery requires you to speed.

Yeah, they're called "snowbirds" and they're all retired former Michigan drivers whom worked out all of their aggression issues by the time the go South. Because I swear nobody drives like that in Michigan unless they have a Florida plate (and to further the stereotype, drive a Crown Vic).
