Stumble at idle

I have had an almost identical problem with my 86 2.3. I have been digging around here for months trying to find some insight. I found some last night! A gentleman had the same problem as u and I, went through the same diag procedures as u and I, and in the end he pulled the head only to find that cyl. # 2 and 3 had burnt up exhaust valves. problem solved. I am on my way to the junkyard now to pull a head so I can rebuild it (daily driver 1 day off a week can't afford downtime. will post links when I find them

did his compression go up when oil was added to the cylinder?
