Is it gonna be mostly street driven? Mud Drags? Rock Crawling? Theres a lot of stuff you could do with it! Either way its gonna be cool!

little bit of everything mostly looking to build me a DD that I can do any of the above and my g/f not be afraid to ride in it as she is my blazer.

i wish i could get some deals like that lol. ya cousin has a 347 stroker in a early bronco an sh!t she scoots lol

Ill give you 100$ for it, lol... youd double your investment, cant go wrong... id sell it to me if i were you, LOL

in all seriousness thats a sweet deal, will be a sweet build

my first step is the heads there are so many to choose from have been thinking the gt 40 heads or Cleveland heads, any have advice on a solid heads, That are suitable for everyday driving as well as being able to hold up under a lot of stress from playin around.

ty for the compliments on my find he he and I havent even mentioned that it has custom crank and cam in it the cam is a hydraulic roller cam, like flat tappets better, but since what I have has around 150 test miles on my short block may just keep the hardware thats in it now.

I like the TFS TW 185s if piston are notched for a TW head if not AFR 185s.
But it all depends on buget and HP goals.
Man that is a good find for $50.:icon_thumby:

If you do any kind of offroading, I'd seriously run EFI (I'm an EFI guy anyways) It'll help with non level surfaces, and give you the best performance and MPGs...
SVT

good deal! If its just a DD id look for a decent set of GT40s, port them then your good to roll man. you going to FI it or carb?

going Efi with 75mm intake, and Mallory ignition got that and the new Mallory wires for free and I am gonna do all of the work from my engine to the purchase and build of the gen 1 body and plan to do it all in under 5 grand. and am going a min size of 185cc head would like 190's or 200 CC heads.
