Maybe a modified version of a style side bed. Use the fiberglass bedsides and make widen the bed.

Been done before to cover wide tires or a dually conversion. Mounted style side bed sides on a flare side bed tub. Both short beds of course. The better version I've seen had the "steps" deleted.

I've kind of thought about doing the opposite to make a first gen style side. There was third party that made them, a few people here have one, but rare as hens teeth. Hard part would be fabbing up some dually style fenders to match.
