The add a leaf is supposed to be installed IN the spring pack, not below it.

get some bigger picture.

and i dont see how a add a leaf would he unless you went SOA. would'nt it be the same as putting a blocking in to lower it.

With the add a leaf you want to find the leaf the same length or longer. Put it under that leaf and you should be good to go.

here's a larger picture.
you understand my problem
So add a leaf placed between the third and FOURTH as it's good.
To compress leaf I used the same tools that you show in the picture. Mr Snoranger
But it is very hard to make this method

Thank you very much for explanation of all you say

Do you have your add a leaf under your overload leaf spring?

I think you are going to have to move your add a leaf up one more in your spring pack. That is why you can't get the u-bolts tight.
Do that and see if you can get your u-bolts tight.

Do you have a C-clamp? you can clamp (compress) your leaf spring pack and them you can got those u-bolts tight.
When you tighten your u-bolts you have to unbolt your shocks it will make it easier to get the u-bolts tight.

any questions just ask
