i just recently figured out this problem on approx a 300 mile round trip. i have vibration that feels like im on a berm but it only does it when i get up around 87 or 88 mph. it doesnt do it at 85 or 86 but anything higher and it feels nuts. if you hold on to the shifter you can feel it pretty heavily, and it does it if youre running through the rpms in 4th gear and shift up to 5th you can feel it but only at about 87+. any ideas? unbalanced driveshaft? BFG all terrains not rated for that high of speed?

Tire balance or a broken belt that doesn't make itself felt untill you hit a higher speed. If you live in a cold part of the USA or in Canada ice build up on the inside of the rim will throw off wheel balance.

Its also possible for ice and snow to build up inside the fender itself and as the tires expand with speed they rub and make a heck of a racket.

Maybe a loose bearing or a bearing on the way out.

My mustang many years ago did something similar for a short period of time before blowing the clutch into bits. in effect it had already blown 90% of the clutch and a small part of it was hanging in there and throwing the balance way off.
