Strange Things You've hauled or towed with your RBV

That ZJ pic reminds me of the very first load I hauled with my Ranger. It was about two days after I bought the truck and headed up to Best Buy to do a little Christmas shopping. On the way out, I ran into a friend who was having trouble loading a new 52" flatscreen into her Grand Cheerokee. Being the nice guy I am, I offered to haul it home for her (it was a surprize prenest for her hubby) The TV coast more that what I paid for the truck! So, you have a $2,500 TV in a $2,000 truck!

i've hauled my dads and I's racing mowers around..

i've also worked at a golf course too..

i used to work at a lumber yard the crap that ive jammed into vehicles is amazing.. i fit a 14ft sheet of drywall into a minivan..

at one time i had one ranger following another, both hauling s-10's on a dual axle trailer full of s-10 parts.....on the way to the scrap yard! :headbang:

it wasnt successful but a friend of mine asked if i could help transport some lumber. so when i got there apparently she expected 7 2x10x16' lumber into a 6ft bed. after we(strapped it in) and the fork lift released the the truck went down to bump stops and almost ripped the hooks through sheet metal.

Ranger's a tough little trucks, but ven the toughest trucks have their limtts. Frankly, I wouldn't feel comforable having over half the weight of a load that long hanging off the rnd of the truck.

85 20 lbs landscaping stone so far..........moving shyt to the storage unit this Sunday though. Hopefully then I can park the the garage. :yahoo:

My first ranger i took a big sheet of plastic and put in the bed then filled it with water and went through the wendy's drive thru with my two daughters in the back. Redneck moment to say the least. If you do this, remember to close the sliding rear window.

60 Gal air compressor stood up-stuck 2-3 ft over top of cab
and snowmobiles, quads, bikes.......

Haven't hauled or towed too many odd ball things in with my 98ranger (2.5L 2wd) just the usual a full pallet or bricks, my 05 honda foreman and towed a suzuki LJ20 (jeep prior to the samurai jeeps, it was gonna be a cool lil project that didn't pan out due to $). But i've got faith in my lil ranger and if it needs to be moved i'll try it lol.

The entire swing set assembled. We tipped it over and layed it right onto the bed rails. It hung over the back of the truck probably a couple feet and it also was well above the cab.

I hauled a 460 out of the junkyard in my old 4x4 99'. It was in the WOODS to, like I had to take a few deep mud trails to get back there, then come back out with my truck sagging like crazy. Weird as hell having to go mudding with a nasty rusty old 460 big motor strapped in the back. Then I had to haul it 20 miles home just to get it. Pretty good for a old truck. lol

Flat towed a broncoII a few times, friend of mine pop started a Freightliner rollback

6 people including a kid in a car seat in the cab.

My dad's F-250 out of our mud pit when while the engine was blown, then pushed it into the garage for the heart transplant.

threw the hood of my buddies civic in the bed to run over to my grandparents garage because the skies decided to open up while we were doing his body repairs. He was driving in front of me, and I was following him down the road with the hood for the car in my bed.

1000 Cracker Barrel Menus. They changed prices and had to get all new menus, so I took to old ones to burn so I could put the ashes in the garden. Those were back there for about 6 months before I got them all burnt.

10 foot snake.

Hmm... can't think of anything else at the moment.
