Straight up trade ‘03 Ranger for ‘97 F250??

Someone tell me I’m crazy before I get to far into this. Gentleman in my area looking for a trade for his ‘97 f250. I’m a sucker for an old diesel and a square body, and have always dreamed of building an off road diesel. Is this worth it! I don’t know many details yet on the f250 other than its stock but my ranger is stock as well.

I don’t know that the other truck sounds too good to be true. Like I said I’d still have to talk to the other fella about his trucks details. The ranger is my hunting rig so the f250 would be a hunting truck as well.

I’ve got a 96 F250 diesel four-wheel-drive. And of course I’ve been playing with the Rangers for a few years. I’d have to see both to have an opinion, but let me throw this out there.

It’s one hell of a lot more expensive to do stuff on that F250 diesel then it is to do on the Rangers. Be careful what you wish for!
