Straight suspension

Well i took the rear wheels off today to put mudflaps on and i noticed that the leafs were flat like o_____O I think there shot. Are they should i replace them? sorry no pics should have taken some.

probably...wouldnt hurt to change them out. Go find a set of leaf springs from a 4-door ford explorer from the junkyard, will bolt straight up, and give you an extra inch or two of lift. Only thing you need to do to them is flip the center pin.

pics of flat leafs, never seen em before.... seems interested, and if thats what bad leafs are, mine are in great condition....

well i guess ill take the wheel off and take pics but not tell tommorow its dark.

They're just wore out. I'd go with some Explorer leaves if you can use an inch or so of lift. Or you can just get another set of Ranger leaves that are in better shape.

My buddy's XJ had some severely wore out leaves...they actually had negative arch!

doesn't really matter....any 4 door Expo up to 2001 i think ( or whenever they changed to the IRS )

i gave $30 for my Expo leaves....they were off a 96....
