Storage/toolbox/carry-all ideas for a floor jack?

Original cardboard box that floor jack came in is pretty sturdy, and as an added bonus, it's got 2 plastic packing straps that act as handles, yet slide off easily when time to open the box and break out da jack, BUT... decades of humidity and rain leaks have done in the cardboard... does someone make a "Tupperware" for this purpose? Is there some material that would be easy to cobble up a box/cradle out of?

Maybe I'm over-thinkin' it, I mean, it's a bloody rugged FLOOR JACK, maybe I just need a couple canvas cinch-straps to keep the handle and everything together, and easy to tote around...??

I had a smaller 1.5 or 2 ton floor jack I carried in a canvas bag with 2 jack stands
Can't remember the brand but it had the straps that ran around the bottom of the bag
It lasted me for years, I ended up selling it with the jack and stands to a friend

Was called a mechanics tool bag they come in many sizes and made for carrying heavy stuff, well the good ones anyway, lol

I remembered I did cut a piece of plywood and put it in the bottom so wheels wouldn't rub canvas thru

I know, there used to be real mil-spec milsurp last-forever bags, available cheap at fer-real Military Surplus stores... then it all became "trendy" with a "certain crowd", and now all you find is ChiCom knockoff crap... OTOH, I'm thinking WATERPROOF material...

... maybe I'll hit up Harbor Crap, get a new cardboard floorjack box, and just saturate it with polyester resin until it turns into "fiberglass"... hmmm...

That's a pretty LONG toolbox, and if there's just the typical single central handle, it's probably not going to balance right... but hey, post a pic of what you have in mind... I'm open to ALL ideas... doesn't have to be pretty... just has to be fairly waterproof... and easy to grab with 2 hands.

I don't have one. I was just throwing out an idea. I have a bottle jack and a high lift jack for impromptu repairs or getting unstuck depending on the situation. Also, keep in mind you don't have to keep the tool box in stock configuration. You can install handles and what not to make it work for your purposes.

Measure your jack and then check measurements of army surplus ammo boxes. You might find a decent match.

I like this idea... make sure it is metal, you may need to pitch the tray, bot it should work well. I would modify it a bit though... first mod, line the bottom and end pieces with 1/2 inch plywood. Nail or screw a couple of cleats to keep it from rolling around by the wheels. The plywood will keep the Jack from deformity the metal of the toolbox. Next get an old seat belt or nylon strap to make a shoulder strap. Attach the ends to the sides of the toolbox through the plywood end plates. Dont attach to the lid..
Double or triple fold the straps where the bolts go through and use fender washers so the straps don't pull over the bolts. That should give you a pretty sturdy container for the jack

Oh, right, AMMO BOXES... great gaskets on those tough puppies... probably have to be 20 "mike-mike" or larger caliber to be wide enough... even the awesome .50BMG round is under 6" long... need to break out mah tape measure.

I have one that was from some kind of mortars or tiny missiles that would work great.
