Stock Suspension Travel?

First time asking a question. I bought a stock 2wd 04' Ranger Edge with torsion bar front suspension 6 months ago. I noticed there is less than 1/4" of clearance between this yellow rubber cushion and the lower A Frame. That doesn't seem like much travel before it bottoms out. I can see the rub mark like they come in contact under normal use (not off roading). Does anyone have a similar truck and knows roughly what clearance they have in this area? I'm thinking mine needs to be raised. Any advice on what clearance is expected on this would GREATLY be appreciated. Bip

I might be able to help but don't have a clue which part you are talking about. Got a pic?

There's only about 1/4" clearence before it hits the bumpstop.

It's hard for me to believe that the total front end suspension travel is 1/4". I could not even find any bump stops on my front end. Maybe I was looking in the wrong spot??

hey bud, i got an 01 edge and i noticed that i had marks from the bump stop on my suspension, however i have way more than just the .25", but i know that my marks are from driving on lots of unpaved roads. so is your front end sagging? otherwise not really sure i can help.
