Stock Ride Height

Can anyone tell me what the stock ride height is on 2000 2WD ranger? Either to the top of the wheel well, or cross member... Any measurement I can use to determine if mine has been lifted or not.

I just bought the '00 ranger and suspect it's riding higher than factory. Just want to confirm.

In addition to the height itself seeming high, the wheel gap seems larger than stock.

how much gap is over the rear tires? any blocks between the axle and springs?

I'll measure the gap itself and check for blocks tomorrow. Do you, or anyone else, know what the stock gap is?

stock tire size is 235/75 so the tires should be a little bigger might make it have bigger gap

Do you have a Trailhead Edition Ranger? They were lifted about 2" from the factory, just like the Edge editions that came out in 2001. I believe they had torsion bars up front instead of coil springs.

I don't know, there are no markings on the truck other than "ranger." What can I look for to check if it's a trailhead?

The easiest way to tell if its a trailhead is to look at the front suspension, does it have coil springs or torsion bars?

basically, a trailhead is a 4x4 Ranger without the front differential or transfer case. Same deal with a 2wd edge.
