I was starting on my lift this evening got the rear apart and was putting in the new 6" leaf springs, got the front bolt in and was putting the rear one in when it just stopped, wouldnt go into the bushing. The thing is too big, barely i mean like half a mil maybe. to big to pound in... Im basically wondering if anyone else ever had this problem with these springs? Also any suggestions on where to get different bolts. Im assuming grade 8 will be good enough? Thanks for the input.

9/16" x 4.5" bolts should fit. Though I've never run into the stock 14mm bolts not fitting either. Maybe there's a burr or debris inside the bushing sleeve? (try running a rat-tail file through it).

everything was pretty much worn out. there were bigger bolts in the shackle bushing...im gonna wait to put it all on..it needs a little more modification for it to work than i have time for at the moment. Im working on re-wiring the dash so after that ill worry about the suspension. Thanks for the info, and yes the 9/16-4.5" bolts fit perfect.
