Well I thought i had all the problems worked out with my 94 2.3 but i was wrong. I've checked the timing on the motor, the belt looks good and the timing was right on. I checked to make sure the spark was advancing, it is.... I swapped out my old busted EGR valve which made a big difference. New o2 sensor, full tune up. Still the power just dosen't seem to be there and im still only seeing 15-20mpg's which just dosen't seem right to me, even if I baby it all over the place i haven't seen better than like 19-20 mpgs, someone help? Also just had the exhaust checked out at a muffler shop and he said it's not the problem.

MAP sensor good?

Run some fuel injector cleaner through it. Chevron Techron.

Fuel Filter?

it's got a maf, and i've ran like 100 dollars worth of that fuel system cleaner through the tank since i bought it plus about 4 fuel filters ( the tank was out of the truck for a while so i figured i'd better make sure to keep a fresh filter in it.) but since it burns up tons of fuel, id suspect the filter and injectors are fine? i'm not sure how all that works, but does anyone know how to test the FPR? and could that be the reason for it's poor running condition and fuel economy?
