Sticky Suggestion - Vermont Title for "No Title" Vehicles

I may run into a similar issue with my trailer after I finish the upgrades to it. It will eventually get a 2,200# Timbren axle with brakes. I may let it ride at the original weight certification and take a chance or try to get the weight rating upgraded. The frame can handle it. A 2,000# axle was an option for the trailer when they were still available for sale.

Edit - just looked, the "tag" is just a options and paint tag with a number that looks like a vin, but it's a "warranty I.D."

The "Warranty ID Number" is the VIN. Or what passed for a VIN in the 60s.

You mean like this one from ‘65 that say not for title or registration purposes right under the vin#...

I'll have to dig up my registration and see if it's the same. I have a bunch of those tags because I've owned 6 different 65 mustangs as parts cars and always saved the tags and titles. If it is the same as the vin, who knows what car it actually came from. :dunno:

No inspection on it so it's never seen the DMV.
