Ok so I got the SAS done on my 02 Ranger and the front passenger caliper is sticking really bad and won't release until the rotor completely cools down and even then it sticks again the 1st time you push the brake pedal. These are the factory disc brakes on the 78 D44 I installed on the truck with the brake lines still running thru the stock Ranger ABS Module.

Anyone have some ideas as to why just the one caliper would be sticking like this?

Thanks,
Sean

if the brake line is old the inside will swell over time so fluid can be pushed through but it cant flow back out, so basically the brake is locked until over like 24hrs the pressure bleeds off.

Could be a bad caliper

I never even thought about the brake line doing that mainly due to them being new steel braided lines from ruffstuff.

I have been thinking that the caliper is having an issue but after thinking about what has been going on I can easily see the brake line doing this. I will just replace both parts one at a time stating with the brake line and which ever one it turns out to be I at least have an extra good part for a trail spare.

Thanks guys!
