sterring wheel swap

hello gentleman : this is my first time to participate in a forum. i have a 1988 Ranger 2.9 with a floor mounted a/t shifter. I want to swap in a column shifter, can anyone tell me what year would be the most adapatable, with the least wiring problems. mine has the cruise controls in the steering wheel, and tilt. Thanks jerry

89is when they started the column shift. Not available with first gen rangers/B2's.

Only way to get the column shift is custom column or swap to the 89-93 dash.
