Stereo and cb done

So in the midst of having my dash off to clean up and replace wires and grounds and rebuild the turn signal switch I decided to install the stereo

I used a dual bt dvd popout screen that is 70$ for none bt and 107 for bt
Pioneer 4 inch speakers up front and Pyle 6x9 in the rear 50$
Uniden cb was cheap and solid reviews for 30$

150$

I had to relocate the ac and temp controls up to the stereo slot and use the bottom one to allow the screen to pop up when I want it out.

I would have done the flip up screen in my 94 but I like having the right vent during the summer to help keep me cool. Most of the mileage is put on the truck in summer so you can see how this could be an issue for me. The reason I was thinking of the flip up screen was for two reasons, GPS pre-mounted in the truck and for a rear view camera. Are these thoughts you have had?

Well I wanted the rear view camera for my boat trailer and I have a little gps computer I can plug into the video in. This stereo is fully functional even when the screen is not flipped out and that is what I wanted. I was also considering putting two 20$ under carriage cameras that I could toggle on the screen. I dont plan on wheeling this but I do go up to some mountain lakes that have tight trails and clearance issues.

Now that's an idea, the under carriage cams for wheeling. I like that, that would have saved me a lot of trouble years ago. Tech always comes to late lol

For the price adding two cameras on a toggle switch to the stereo is only about 40$ they are cheap so if they break oh well . You can insure them on amazon for 7$ lol
