Hey my trucks steering wheel has been shaking pretty badly when I go over 50 and until I hit 75. Any ideas on why and how to fix it?

i experienced the same deal with my 03. first thing i done was check to make sure the lugs weren't loose, they werent. the next thing i did was rotate the tires. it helped but i had wobble in the rear, so i had my tires balanced. helped out alot! but it there was still vibration from one of the tires...so i watched it as my brother drove and turns out i had a bent rim from skiddin dirt roads sideways, hahahaha. replaced the rim and good as new.

hope this helps you out a bit.

Unfortunately those aren't my issues got new tires and new rims and it was still there. I got an alignment done as well. The only thing I can think of now is that I have a blown ball joint and that is getting fixed tomorrow so hopefully that will fix it

I've also heard somewhere that the wheel bearing assembley bein loose can cause that also. Im not to sure about that info though. But hey I hope you get it all figured out soon.

Ya I'd just say tie rods, balance of tires, tire pressure. Ball joints idk I guess. I gotta grease mine as they are flat... Trying to troubleshoot a clanking noise over bumps. I had Horrible vibration 60+ till I got my new tire balanced, also help was the tie rods being replaced. Now to find a friggin shop that will align bigger then stock tires... I swear where the f do all these people go around me with 30 inch rims... I got 1 inch extra on tire and I can't get it aligned... I just need to start killin people.

ya the ball joints were the problem. there is still a little shake but i havent realigned it so i wont know if anything else is wrong until i get that done.
