Steering Stabilizer

Just looking for a single stabilizer. What's my best bet for the least money? What do you use? How's it work? Thanks

I bought one from JCWhitney not to long ago. It was about $40 or so but wasnt exactly bolt on. I dont know if they gave me the wrong part or what, but I would have had to drill into my frame to install it. I ordered it online, it might have been better to actually talk to a real person. I think the next cheapest would be from James Duff or one of the other suspension companies, they are all pretty comparable, except for Rough Country, they seem to be slightly cheaper.

Also how some of them install they do not work on a lift (kinda stupid). But that was the deal with mine made by pro comp

I have the Skyjacker single stabilizer, and it seems to work well. I don't remember the cost at the time tho, I would have to look up my receipts. As for the install. I had to drill one hole, but it comes with the directions and will give you the best place to install it on your truck with the amount of lift you have and what might be in the way of the stabilizer.

Unless you have worn parts under there (or if your linkage geometry is out of whack), you shouldn't need a steering stabilizer if you have power steering and your tires are properly balanced.

A stabilizer is basically just a mask for your other problems (I don't run one with my 35s, doesn't need it).

+1 to what junkie said. steering stabilizers are band-aids and will only cover up poorly set-up or worn steering.

I got the one from jc whitney too, and had to make another hole in the bracket to fit the holes that were already in the frame. i took it off when i got my truck aligned right and it drives good wihtout it now.
