ok i put a bodylift on my truck and put extended steering shaft in and now the steering seems tighter harder to turn almost like its binding. any ideas? thanks

installed my body lift a few weeks ago and does the same thing as well. was super smooth before. i figure it must be the angle of the steering shaft now since it has changed.

Its completely normal mine done it and I got used to it and kinda like it now. My dads truck feels wore out after driving mine.

it's normal for the steering shaft to bind a lil' after the body lift. it usually frees up after the bushing pops outta the firewall, but the steering then gets sloppy and kinda throws u all over the road cause the shaft just flopps around. kinda sucks but ya get use to it, anyone have a possible fix for this problem now that i think about cause i just got home and am feelin kinda queeeeeeezzzzzzzyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!

The rubber rag joint can't soak up the increased angle as well as it did before. Others have uses a u-joint off of a Aerostar and they have said it really helped, I have never got around to it.
