hey guys pulled into my driveway tonight and heard a like snaping crunching noise in the steering colom.. any ideas??

I think there is a u joint (or something similar) in the steering linkage that can cause such noises. Also check your tie rod ends and ball joints just to be on the safe side.

is there a u joint in there? i thought it was a rag joint?

93 would have a rag joint.

If it is a tilt wheel version, the u-joint in the tilt mechanism or something in that assembly might be making the noise.

Roll the window down and listen to see if you can hear it outside the truck. As was stated earlier, check the steering rods etc to narrow it down
