Will a steering box from a 97 bolt to the frame and column of a 88 bronco 2

Should. All the Ford trucks from the mid 70s up to the switch to rack and pinion steering were the same.

Just to clarify, the box on my '90 Ranger would be the same as say a '97 F350? The Ranger has a leaky box and I happened across a free '97 F350 box...

Thanks,

Thanks,

As far as I know Ford only made one recirculating ball gear box from 1979 on. There may be differences in the gearing inside, but externally they are all the same and will bolt up in place of each other.

Sweet, thanks, just remembered I have another box too so I have enough for the Ranger and my Explorer project...
