Hi, I'm Rick and new to this, and this forum.
I have a 97 f250 S/D with a 7.3 and having problems with the gear box.
The top of the box has a cap that cracked and is blowing fluid out??
I didn't think it was a big deal till.... I put a used gear box on and new fluid,
turned the steering wheel to get the air out. And the used box blew???
Is there something else causing the blow out? or could it be chance that
the used one was ready to go too?
Anyone seen this HELP before I send more $$$$ to find out.
