ford econoline vans with a straight 6/302/351 came with a nice silent saginaw steering pump, has anyone ever put one on there ranger?

You know, it's funny...

I was sitting here this afternoon with a saginaw pump
and a bare 4.0 A/C-P/S bracket and brain storming that out....

The other thing I want to get rid of is that damned fitting ford uses
for the high pressure output.

Doesn't that fitting SUCK?!?! What a PITA to take off...

whats the newest and most common vehicle to get a pump from that will fit the 4.0 bracket and belt?

None. You have to cut the 4.0 bracket for either pump version.

are all the gm pumps the same?
