Starving for fluid?

I've HEARD that C4's tend to starve for fluid when they are at steep angles offroad. How true is that, and can it be corrected?

Also, do AOD's behave the same way?

I tried to search but didn't find much...

I've had zero problems with that. Going C5/C4 has been almost the best thing I did to my truck.
