Hello
I am new to this Forum in a way I have read through it on on occustion looking for solutions that I have had with my Ford Ranger! I have a 2001 Ford Ranger 4x4 EDGE, I have had a lot of problems with of late. About 4 months ago I started getting a P0305 code misfire in cylinder 5, I put new Plug Wires on about 7 months ago, changed the plug in that cylinder still same code came up. Checked wire, wire was fine getting spark there, found vout it was arcing at coil pack. Fixed that problem then got P0351,P0352, and P0353, put new Coil Pack in fixed that Problem, then I started getting a P0340 code and stated to hear sqwacking noise at back of engine, friend took a automative stethoscope and put it by Camshaft position Sensor Sycronizer, hered noise there so about 2 weeks ago had it replaced, hered this noise for about month and a half. Noise went away Code did not come back. I left one thing out after I had the problem with my Cylinder 5 it through the code for O2 Sensor on the bank where Cylinder 5 is I think P0130, so I replaced that on e, I replaced the other 2 about 3 years ago so I knew those 2 were good. So, any way the new problem I am having is that I start my truck up and it goes for about a minute or 2 and stops, try to start it back up does not start Lift hood up fiddle with wires at coil pack main harness on coil pack, harness on Camshaft Sensor MAF harness plug all Harnesss out back in get back in and try to start vehicale again somtimes it will start somtimes it won't, Also somtimes when I am shifting from 1 to 2 up around 2000 rpm it lurches!
Thank you

Also, I have replaced all 3 EGR valves, TPS sensor, cleaned MAF, cleaned IAP on top of Throttle Body, un screwed or unbolted one side of Crankshaft Position Sensor and cleaned that off, also checked fuel rail pressure 63-68 psi, really think this could be a problem with the spark plug wires at the Coil pack though
Thanks

Somebody with another Ranger said because so Hot outside could be a Vapor Lock Problem, they had problem with I guess, I don't know never had that before in the past, though Summer has been hotter than maybe past 2 or 3 Summers, Maybe coil pack getting hot and shutting down for a few minutes.
Thanks
