Ok so I just recently picked up a 94 ranger 4.0 v6, and it will start fine when its cold, but I can not shut it off when it is warm, or it will not start again, someone told me it was a fuel pupm so were putting it in tomorrow, but had a feeling that the timing was off, wanted to see what you guys thought. Let me know. thanks.

Check the fuel pump pressure when the truck is having trouble, before u start throwin unnecessary money. just my 0.02.

timing is off? so its cranking slow?

more details please.

you need to figure out what what you're losing. try to run it on propane or starting fluid when it won't start. that will tell you
