I got a 2.0L with a 5 spd manual, when I leave my truck to set for eight hours in the parking lot at work, I get off my shift and attempt to start it, it just "clicks" once (sounds like the starter is engaging the flywheel) and I turn the key off and cycle thru a few pumps on the clutch pedal and it starts right up.

Do I need to be looking at the starter solinoid, or the clutch start switch?:icon_confused:

You wouldn't even get a click if it was the clutch switch...more likely a loose wire...either the ground or the one on the solenoid...mine was notorious for doing the same thing...always was a loose ground wire on the starter...

I had this problem last night every once and a while it happens. one of my battery terminals was loose, tighten it up and started no problem
