I think I can speak for a lot of people when I say this forum has been invaluable for the knowledge it has provided over the years. Huge thanks to all who have contributed.
A little about my rangers:
My daily ranger is a 2001 3.0 with 312k miles. I picked it up in pretty rough shape with about 302k on the clock. Took a little fixing up, but she’s been my reliable daily for the last 10k miles.
Over the winter I picked up a 93 4.0 4x4 with 217k miles (I assume). Only problem was a bad transmission… the notorious a4ld. I had no clue what I was getting myself into lol. After following Brain’s “Frankentranny” thread over in the explorer forum I manager to get her up and running again. Haven’t put too many miles on her yet but have definitely had some fun in the mud with it.
