Hi, tonight I fired my 2.8 up for the first time and broke in the camshaft. Everything went fantastic except now the starter wont turn over the engine now that the rings have seated. My first thought was that I seized the engine, but after taking all the spark plugs out, it turns over freely. The block was shaved 0.015, but I wouldnt imagine that raised the compression ratio up so much that the starter wont even turn over the engine. Any help would be appreciated

Weak battery, test voltage
12.8v new battery
12.5v 3 year old battery
12.3v 5/6 year old battery and time to shop for battery sale

12.2v or less battery is done

If battery tests OK, when clean and reconnect battery cables, at BOTH ends, Ground cable needs to pass the same 60+ amps as positive cable does for starter motor to work

Starter motor is done, drawing too many amps

Update: I got new 2 gauge battery cables today, now it starts again. However it wont idle under 2000 rpms. Still lots of tuning to do lol.
