starter going out?

help! i went mdding the other day and now i notice that when i go to start the truck, the starter makes one hell of a noise and sounds like its not disengaging. the truck starts but makes noise while doing so.

any help?

remove and clean the starter...then retry

make sure that the bolts are tight and not stripped
