I can understand where they are coming from with this bill.....It is not the right way to go about it but if you have ever lived in a huge major city it can be a pain during rush hours and the such having miles of back ups and will take you hours longer than needed to get anywhere. BUT, this law will be abused. It is meant to deter rush hour traffic for the most part but politicians will just make it so you will have to take out a loan to drive down the highway eventually....as i said i see what they are trying to do.....just completely the wrong idea.

This will never pass, for one simple reason, it's political suicide. Politicians who vote for a bill like this would end their career because this is something that will stick in voters minds and come election time they are all out of office. I hear crap like this all the time and nothing ever comes from it.

Sorry to hear about your moms medical problems goodie85. They wait till your out to hit you with bills and denying coverage. I crashed my car Jan 7th on leave back from Iraq. Hit a wall at 80 sliding sideways and ripped the front end off my Nissan altima. My right side I couldn't move fully for a week and slowly healed. I got out of army same year in April. After that I was soon informed by tufts hospital that 2k of the 5k visit was covered and they want the money and tricare said they won't pay anymore. I got pushed out of army with right knee, shoulder, and right side of my collar bone is about an inch out farther then left. But I weigh 160 and can still push out 220 benching. My injuries are only now and then limiting me when they do start up. I hope they do help your mother out. My uncle had his l4 and l5 removed, nothing worse then back and sciatica pain.

I think it's one of those things that won't pass... But then again... Left hand exits are one stupid idea that has caused alot of accidents... Me for one, a father inlaw who got knocked into a guard rail on his motorcycle by someone from slow lane switching over 4 lanes to make exit cause they thought it was on right... Needless to say that he should of just taken next exit and turned around...

I personally agree with Bttlscrs on this one Stray-cat. You know if ALL of us had maintained our interest in the politics and voted with more knowledge, and interest I do not feel we would be in the predicament we are in now as a nation.

As far as the government taxing us at the pump AND by the mile it wouldn't surprise me one little bit. When has the government ever removed or even reduced a TAX without getting more somewhere else?

Downtown Chicago has left lane on-ramps.. Which causes many more accidents than right lane on-ramps. I understand why they did it, so they can shove more on-/off-ramps into a smaller strip of road, but it screws everyone over.

ouch that sucks with you....but yea its difficult for her, to do basic house work so i end up helping ALOT...which im not complaining but it sucks knowing a 43 year old woman cant do some of the stuff bc of her issues, and i got some catchin up to do im 160 and can only push out 190 benching, before my left femur was broken i was able to do 780 leg press

As I read this I got the impression that the tax proposed here is intended to get the Electric Vehicle drivers to be paying some sort of usage tax on the roads, not exempting them from it. It's still a load of bull since it will hit fossil fuel powered owners double. It'd be much easier to put a secondary meter on the charging units for those cars. I also see the "feasibility studies" and the "administrative costs" taking up far more than the revenue that will be generated from something like this. It would take years to set up, years more to break even, and is just generally a bad idea. We need less government. When they learn to pear back and cut their costs and STICK TO A GOT-DANGED BUDGET like the rest of us have to do, then maybe we can get some traction back as a nation.

40lb dumbells 1 handed above head for triceps, if you know what exercise im talking about. i did 160 on tricep pulley recently but that cant be accurate cause id of lifted myself off the ground lol.
