I just got back from my oil change, and they found a new problem with my Ranger.

I have a leaky timing cover gasket. They suggested that I have the water pump replaced, along with the timing chain, since they will be in the area anyway. I have NO idea when the last chain was replaced.

I have 217,000 miles.

About how much will the parts be? What about labor?

Should I just do everything, or do whats needed?

I took a look at my timing chain at 220,000 miles and it looked good as new.. Putting a new waterpump on is not hard at all.
