Stanley fatmax powerit 1000A. issue

I just bought this, at a yard sale “new in box” (they had 2 actually) $30. its a jump box, also has a small built-in air compressor. I have a harbour freight one that I got last christmas but thought it wouldnt be a bad idea to have one in both the truck & the escape. I charged it for nearly a day to get it to full charge, and a few hours later noticed the battery life display would turn on then off by itself, occasionally it will beep for no reason and the “alternator check” icon will be on. The power switch is off, and I did try switching it on and off a few times. I read online that this had happened to other people but no response on what/if it is fixable. Guess if its junk at least I only wasted $30 instead of $80. Anyone here have one of these and have a similar issue?

Or you could just use your new 6,000 dollars in credit to buy a better one?

Good eye on the postcard under the unit. Think I’ll just put this jump box in my own garage sale, it may work but If it has to be charged every 2 - 3 days thats more of a headache than its worth.
