Stall/sputter

That looks OK then. The vac line goes right from the back to that tee. hmm...I'm still thinking that the FPR is bad. Like I said..Mine did what yours did. It never leaked out of the back or anything..It just died.

I really think that's it.

Ok well since I'm throwin parts at it anyways.... Might as well! :D
I also want to replace that inline fuel filter pump thing. Any ideas on exactly what that is? It's after the reservoir type filter.

I think you are talking about the pump. It's the high pressure pump thats basically just below your feet as you are driving, along the frame rail.

I don't see the point in replacing what works. I would change that FPR and call it a day.

It comes in at 3, and my Xmission fluid cooler comes in tomorrow.... As does my window belt felt things. Weatherstripping things.

Update.... Broke starter solenoid, and low power in battery. So getting the battery charged and had the starter checked, passed. Replaced starter cable. Eatin lunch waitin on the battery. Repost with results later

Ok! So after all the mods and replaced parts over the last few days.... She runs!! And good. Still has a Very slight stall/sputter but I drove it around a little and it doesn't do while holding the had pedal at steady rpms. So a total of parts replaced:
Pcv & grommet
Coil
Fuel filter- reservoir type
Fuel pressure regulator
Starter solenoid
Starter solenoid to starter cable
Overall im pretty happy. She runs, and better than be for.

Good. Congrats! If you still get a bunch of sputtering then i'd say you may have some dirty injectors. MAP sensor is also a possibility, but i'd think if it were too out of whack it would throw a check engine light.

Yeah I'm thinking about running some injector cleaner through next fill up. I don't know a lot about the MAP i looked in the tech library but I'm sure where to look. Always get side tracked in there.... So many cool things.... 5.0 swap... SAS... Nitrous... Ahh. If only I didn't live in cali...

lol, I hear you on all of the fun things to do with these trucks.

I'm glad it's running AND better than before! I've been tinkering with my truck since day one in the same way..Little by little, it gets better.

Ok I want to clean my idle air control thing, and my map sensor, but I don't where they are at. Or what to look for. Any help?

You can't clean the MAP. It's up on the firewall just above the heaterbox. It has a vac line going to it.

IAC is on the side of the upper intake on the passenger side. It's cylindrical in shape.

Idle air control thing?? Where's is this thing?? I can't seem to find it in my Haynes manual. Or in the tech library.
