I havent done it in awhile but when it starts to get cold out and i accidently stall my engine on take off when i first start the truck it takes like 5-10 minutes of continuous cranking and some throttle play till it will start back up does anyone know why it does this?

our generation of trucks are always hard to restart after a cold stall...ive never managed to figure out why. could be a fuel pressure thing...try priming the engine a few times next time you stall it and see if it starts up quicker.

I had a '94 until recently. I live in MN and go to school in ND. I would stall every so often when things got slippery. I never had a hard start problem.
