Stacks?


I say go for it lol, I think on an '89 it would look pretty good, the pics posted look good.

I can't say I've done it but if I was you I would try making a funky bracket or something that you could use to bolt to the pipe but when you got the bed have a chunk of a rubber to avoid vibration/metal noises. Putting a faux stack over a glass pack sounds like a really cool idea. I love my cherry bomb even though with the 2.4l it sounds a lil like a lawnmower :sad: however I dump right before the rear tire.

I built a single 4" stack for mine for under $150. It sounds really nice (but I'm running a 4BTA diesel). I left the top a few inches too tall because I plan to slash cut it later.

I think on a Ranger stacks would look retarded. bobbywalter's truck excepted.
 
I think they look far from retarded when done right! If you like stacks, it's your truck, do what you like.
