squealing/Chirping/Whirring.....Part 2

Ok guys thanks for the help. As posted before, I have replaced the cam synch,cam sensor,throw out bearing,slave cyl,and ran the motor WITHOUT the belt on. We just tore it completely down and replaced all seals and bearings, and pulled the IAC while running and I still have the noise but its a little different now. Its a constant bwoop,bwoop,bwoop about every 2 seconds. Rpms dont change the speed or sound of it. Drove it home tonite and it runs like a top, plenty of power same mileage but OMG the sound is embarrassing and loud. 3500 rpms or idle, same sound and same repetition. HELP ME GUYS!!!!!

Update

When I plugged in the OBDII scanner said nothing's wrong, truck's perfect! Run it! If only the scanner had ears.

did you replace the cam syncro sensor or shaft? The shaft is what makes a horride squeal constantly.

I've replaced them both - twice. And I've switched out amongst three different ones and I always get the same noise.

Is there a way to record the noise and post it here? Does the noise change with vehicle speed? What condition makes the noise change? In gear, neutral, 4x4, Low range ,Front drive shaft removed, rear drive shaft removed. Also seen K&N filter seals bad causing noise. I've heard fuel pumps make alot of noise but not that loud. Last that I can remember one that had a bad ground causing the horn to make funny noises , disconnect horns.

You state you tried several different Syncro shafts, has any one or all of them been brand new out of the box? If not it is possible (and likely) all 3 have the same issue as it is a common problem.

Thanks for your help guys. Its a 2 wheel so it was with just the trans itself off. one new synchro Motorcraft and two others from good running motors.The noise does it at all times whenever it wants and sometimes it goes away for a few mins.It pauses when revved or accelerating until its back to whatever rpm or speed. No horn is hooked up. Planning on doing a youtube vid soon.
