I have a 2006 Ranger and have a squeaky brake booster, is this a common problem, and is there a fix for it?

Thanks!!!

Spray some lube around the brake pedal arm.

It's not likely to be the booster but some part of the moving assembly. If you kneel down next to the truck with your head under the dash and work the brake by hand you should be able to pinpoint the squeaky part.

^^^what he said. Never ever had or heard of anyone having a booster squeak!!!!!!!

I had this problem on my 2002, never took anything apart to lube it, but was unable to get it to stop without taking it apart- so I tolerated it for about two years- then it went away on its own.
