Squeak from eng.

I got a 01 3.0, 65K runs good about 18 mpg avg all time. Now I have what sounds like a squealing belt or pully but is is comming from the firewall on pass side. It is not constant, does not change pitch with eng rpm. sometimes at idle and some times when slowing down at light, some times not at all. Any ideas?

Sounds like it could be the cam synchro

I put a large wager on CAM SYNCRO.......Sound the same as mine did and the right mileage to start.

X3 on the cam synchro. Get a new factory ford one in there before it locks up your engine! Stay away from the cheaper ones, or you'll get to replace it again very soon.
