sprung leaf springs

Does anyone know if 87 leaf spring will fit on a 94 ranger. The ones on my 4x4 are just done. I got a 87 ranger 2wd and just wondering if the springs would be interchangeable. Please let me know. thanks

i'm pretty sure they are......

just get a tape measure and see if the front spring hanger bolt to the shackle hanger bolt is basically the same distance on the trucks...

I switched the springs and it worked just fine. But the 87 springs work ok but i still get a lot of body roll. I saw the tech artical on the explorer swap will this end up with a stiffer ride. my seems kind of soft.

The Explorer springs are a little bit stiffer, yes. You'll get about 1-2" lift from them as well.
