I am gearing up to do a SAS swap on my 87' Ranger. I have a 79' f150 Dana 44 i plan on using with the stock radius arms. I plan to use f150 2wd rear leafs w/ blocks for the rear (for the time being). I have read alot of SAS threads and it seems their is a wide range of springs used in the front.
I was planning on using a BCBronco 5.5" springs. I dont plan on driving the vehicle on the road really, but it may from time to time. So im looking for a good amount of flex w/out sacrificng too much drive-ability. I am looking to run 35" tires. Is the 5.5-6" spring too much? ive seen some guys running 35's with only a 3.5" spring and lift shocks?
Any info or leads would be great, thanks
