any body here have a spotlight like a cop car on there ranger? always thought they were pretty cool. was wondering if anyone knows a good place to buy one and also any info on the install...... and ofcoarse pics are always nice

Got one mounted on the roof of our company truck. Used it once to see if it worked. Now we just cus the damn thing because it loves to jump out an hit you on the head .

dont mount it on the roof if you get one

im not sure where to get one but id say got get a walmart specail handheld break off rhe handle and fab up a mount to mount it to ur truck or something like that

i want it for the look more than the use of it, although i will use it, i want the one on the pillar with the handle coming through like a cop car

yeah i see what u mean, maybe ebay, or go "BORROW" one from a cop car. lol

I've seen a bunch at swap-meets.... but that's not much help... Like suggested I'd look around on eBay, Craigslist, etc.... IIRC, they require a pretty big hole drilled in the A-pillar, I'm not sure how much meat you have to it to either. I just have a hand-held 300,000 candle power light plugs into the cig. lighter that I picked up for $1.

so do you keep your deer rifle next to the spot light?just kidding

I bet if you cruise your junk yards your more than likely to find one on somthing if not on a retired crown vic or something.. i've seen at least one on somthing everytime i go to the yards around here..

Picked up 5 of these yesterday. Problem is..finding someone to install them. If your looking...get size H1.

I have everything I need to install them. Problem is..where do they go? Pillar looks way too small.

Actually, the truck pictured above belongs to a guy named Robin. I've been talking to him on the phone, and he's going to send me the template that i'll need to get these things installed. He's going way out of his way to help.
