Sport Trac wheels on a Ranger

I know this has likely been posted before but I searched and haven't found anything concerete so don't flame me if this is a repost - I have found a set of really nice 03 Sport Trac wheels & tires and i'm looking to put them on my 01 Ranger. The Sport trac wheels have a 5x114.3 bolt pattern and the Ranger has a 5x4.5 which should fit since mathematically they are the same - however I was looking for pics of Rangers running 16 inch Sport Trac wheels like the ones in the pic below. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Chef

Funny u should post this today, I just saw a ranger with sport trac rims today on my way home not sure if there where any modifications to make them fit but I did see a ranger with sport trac rims.

Probably wouldn't fit over the front hubs, definitely not with the center caps installed.

03 Sport Trac is still the first gen so, if they were to clear the center hub, they should fit. But what year did the ranger switch to the newer front hubs?

2nd gen Sport Tracs had the same offset as the Lincoln Aviator wheels I tried last year and they will not work without spacers

not true. they fit over my WARN hubs with plenty of room. and allt he center caps need is a little turn in a lathe and they fit perfect to the end of the hubs. i have a set on my 1993 ranger, but im not too wild abotu the looks of them (IMO).
