Spindles

I was attempting to do a front brake job on my 87 STX. After pulling the rotors off I discovered the spindles on both sides are trash. I tried to source them locally but no luck. Rockauto only shows the nut and washer. Randy's ring and pinion shows the same parts. This is for a Dana 28. There has to be some place that sells new parts. I don't like the gamble on putting used parts.

I dunno. Its a 33yr old truck. You may have to start making compromises.

Sounds like a good reason to swap in a junkyard D35. Those parts were still available the last time I looked.

35 parts (and some 28) are on rockauto.
Anybody know if 35 spindles will fit on a 28 knuckle?

If not, as already said, get a 35 front end.
