but it looks like im missing a few small seals according to the link below in the tech library. wtf?
http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/spindlebearing.html
are these seals I need part #722108 and 722109?
or does all this crap come in a kit?
and what order do they go on during assembly?

this is the seal that goes on the stub, im going to go to a few more parts stores and try to find the seals that go on the end of the spindle.

... seals that go on the end of the spindle.

Which end?
For part number for my 1996 D35
F3TZ-1S175-AA-SEAL
F3TZ-1S175-BB-SEAL

Get them on-line at amazon.com

The inner wheel bearing has a seal, the outer does not, the outer o-ring under the auto (or manual) hub holds the grease on the outside.

I got the inner wheel bearing seals and new Timken wheel bearings but was just confused on the spindle seals. Ill check those part numbers.

With that type of spindle seal you pictured above, there are no seals that go on the actual spindle itself. Instead you should have a gray plastic spacer at the base of the stub shaft, and a thinner V-groove seal that goes on after that ("V" part against the spacer). It's 100% the same setup as the D44 (and each part will interchange with such). Maybe try for the same part on a D44? ('76-'92 I know are all the same, probably on up to '96)

1993 is supposedly when a change was made to the seal setup on RBVs, although my '94 for some reason had the same seals as above, yet my friend's '93 has the newer seals that are different from mine. :icon_confused:

Edit:
Heres a pic showing how the seals go on for that setup:
