well i posted a week or to ago my truck was leaking rad fluid from somewhere duno so i was reading about taking the rad cap off and running it to see if there was bubbles well to my surprise pulled the cap off and bam rad fluid sprayed out and the truck has been sitting for like a week well anyways i started it had it runnin and there was no bubbles but it had a constant trickle of fluid comin out so im at a loss any help would be awesome
thanks.

duno cant find the leak i think it mite be by the t stat but why would it have pressure in it when it hasnt been run in a week and a half

What usually works for me is get it up to operating temp (keep an eye on that gauge to make sure its not overheating!) then turn it off and wait for a leak to start spraying. Its a great way to find something small like a pin hole that you wouldnt find with a naked eye.

Air will compress liquid won't! If the system is running normlly there ain't no air in it, only liquid. So as the temperature goes up and down the liquid goes in and out of the radiator into and out of the coolant tank. Now if there is AIR in the system then there will be 12 or 14 pounds of pressure even when the engine is cold.. Got it?
